This year’s team retreat took us to the mountains for three intensive days – a place that gave us exactly what we needed after this special year: Distance, fresh perspectives and shared energy. Before the Christmas travel rush sets in, we were able to experience the region in its quietest and most inspiring phase.

The fact that this event came at the end of an extraordinary year made it all the more significant. Over the past few months, we have dealt with immense regulatory requirements – complex, time-consuming and crucial for our future security. At the same time, we have succeeded in launching a large number of innovative initiatives that will sustainably strengthen product development in the years to come. This is only possible with a team that is not only competent, but also perfectly coordinated.

The three days in the mountains reflected exactly that. With a strong organization, a varied mix of activities and perfect winter weather, we were able to fully enjoy this time. Whether experienced winter sports enthusiasts or absolute newcomers – everyone found their place, everyone tried something new and we noticeably grew together as a unit.

Between sporting experiences, intensive discussions and creative impulses, many ideas emerged that we will develop further in the coming months. Such moments away from the daily office routine release energy that you often can’t tap into in day-to-day business.

Even though the time has passed far too quickly, we return with a clearer view, a new focus and an impressive collection of impressions. But above all with the certainty that a strong team is the basis for real innovation.
